CeCe loves books more than anything.
She reads in the sunshine, cuddles up with stories at bedtime, and believes every book holds a little bit of magic.

But before she was a happy five-year-old with bouncing pigtails and a bright smile, CeCe was born much too early and spent her first months growing stronger in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). While she was there, her parents read to her every single day, filling her tiny world with love, comfort, and hope.

Now CeCe has a birthday wish unlike any other—to collect 100 books for the babies in the NICU so they, too, can hear stories while they grow.
